A little more about me…

My name is Bex and I live in the Midlands, England - UK.

I qualified as a teacher in the summer of 2009 and then began my NQT year that September (Newly Qualified Teacher). I’ve been teaching in the same school since then and I honestly love my job; I am passionate about education. I spend a lot of my free time reading about education and teaching, I dedicate several hours a week here - finding and uploading things to post and share.

Why did I create this blog?

I love collaboration. You can sit at home, on your own, banging your head against the screen - but often, just a chat with someone else will clarify where you’re going and what you’re trying to do. This is exactly why I created my blog and started using a second twitter account - @MissBex_M and since doing so I have engaged in more CPD than I ever did on my own at school!

So what do I want?

Just for you to enjoy my blog and perhaps, at times, find it useful.
