What a beautiful image to use as a writing prompt. You could ask pupils to begin by listing/finding words to describe the 5 sense and the mood/atmosphere. Then, pupils have to imagine their story bginning here, in this scene. They write their opening… OR…pupils have to describe the scene to the reader (purely description, detatched from it).
